Every living thing always works together to maintain the planet.

There are three types of living things, producers, consumers and decomposers. Producers make their own energy, consumers need to eat to get energy and decomposers break down dead plants and animals to make nutrients for the soil to get energy.

So if we had a tree, a flying fox and a slater. The slater would make nutrients for the soil that would keep the tree healthy. Then the tree would give food and habitat to the flying fix and the slater would get habitat from the flying fox. The flying fox mash their food in their mouth. They suck the juices from the food and spit out large seeds and pulp. By doing so, they help spread seeds for tree and forest regrowth through a process called pollination. And their poops fertilise the soil. Finally, the tree and the flying fox give food to the slater. Its like a cycle.

Humans are harming the environment. As the human population grows, we have changed and damaged natural habitats all over the world, harming many animals and plants we share our planet with. As the human population has grown, we have changed and damaged natural habitats all over the world, harming many animals and plants we share our planet with. Almost everything we do affects the environment. We need to change our behaviour, such as cleaning up pollution, stopping climate change, using laws to protect animals and control hunting and returning as much land as possible to build a happy and healthy ecosystem.

Let us all please help save the environment!
