Today I want to share a book, called “Look! I wrote a book! (And you can too!)” by Sally Lloyd Jones and illustrated by Neal Layton. 

This book tells you how to write a book. Here is what your book will need:

• a good idea on what you are talking about
• who is it for
• a plan (before writing)
• a title 
• a story 
• a good beginning
• a middle
• an ending 

There is a very funny character who is a little girl. She had a particularly funny way of selling books, which is, tie the person to your chair and leave them there! Ha! Ha! Ha!

What I liked about this book is the front cover illustration. It has a book in a book and it seems like it won’t stop. I also liked how the little girl showed us some books and told us what type of books they were.

And I agree, cleaning rooms is truly a tragedy for kids. I  don’t like cleaning my room, my mother forces me too! Grrrr…

The last thing I like about this book is a story, where a daddy lost his children. How would your children be in a shoe or in the toilet! It is so, so, so funny. Ha! Ha! 

I recommend all kids to read this book because it is hilarious. Read it and let your imagination grow!

PS: I loved the content and the illustrations. I think this book, “Look! I wrote a book! (And you can too!), should be given a children’s book award!
